Benefit Account Manager

We have an immediate need to add a Benefits Account Manager to our rapidly growing Life and Health Department.  We require someone with 5+ years’ experience working in employee benefits including life, group health, disability, and other ancillary products.  In addition, must have Life/Health license.

You will be part of a sales/servicing team in an independent agency preparing RFPs for various lines of coverage for prospects and clients; preparing proposals; assist in sales presentations and client enrollments; etc.  Knowledgeable in Health Savings Accounts, Health Reimbursement Accounts, Flexible Spending Accounts, COBRA, ERISA and various DOL guidelines.  Provide back office support to clients for enrollments, product knowledge, benefit inquiries, claims issues and other requests.  Maintain relationships with insurance carriers reps.

REQUIRES LIFE & HEALTH LICENSE. Required to maintain client data in agency management system – BenefitPoint, ImageRight, etc.  Proficient in Microsoft products to create proposals, comparative spreadsheets and presentation materials is essential.  Excellent communication skills and personal relations skills to develop and maintain favorable relationships with clients is of utmost importance.
